Rosebank Public School celebrated our cultural diversity yesterday. What an incredible day it was! Our students cooked up a storm with Mrs T, sampled Biko (Filipino Rice Cake) with Mrs A. This is a traditional snacking food made of glutinous rice cooked in coconut milk, demerara sugar, salt and fennel seeds then topped with a caramel sauce made of coconut milk and condensed milk. Played traditional games from other countries and sampled Italian wafles with Mr P. Listened to stories and dressed in traditional costume.
