Literacy Incursion 2020

Our staff and students were extremely fortunate to have the opportunity to work closely with the 'Every Old Sock Meets an Old Shoe' Theatre and Performance Company last week. This exceptional literacy incursion inspired and mesmerised our students and gave them the opportunity to intereact with three high quality performers who presented a traditional Italian folktale through authentic marionette puppetry. We thank them for bridging the gap between spoken and written literacy by allowing students to experience language as an oral medium, specific to culture and audience.
